Strategic Year-In Review and Planning Meeting 2025

The Information Commission organised its Strategic Year-In Review and Planning Meeting on Tuesday 23 December 2025 at the Savoy Resort and Spa, Beau Vallon. The meeting brought together Commissioners, management and staff to reflect on the work carried out in 2025 and to agree on key priorities for 2026.

The programme began with a welcome by the Chief Executive Officer, followed by a Year-In Review and Year-In-Planning session led by the Chairperson of the Commission. Staff were invited to reflect on what they had learned during the year, what should be maintained going forward, and what could be improved. This session encouraged open discussion, shared learning and collective reflection.

A key part of the programme was a session on workplace psychology and team building, facilitated by the lead consultant, Lieutenant Colonel Allain Pierre, who delivered an engaging session focused on teamwork, communication and professional development. Practical indoor team-building activities allowed staff to work together in a structured and supportive environment.

This year’s meeting was especially important. The Information Commission has a new Chief Executive Officer, and a Private Secretary joined earlier in the year. It also marked the first full year of the current Board of Commissioners. Bringing everyone together helped strengthen working relationships, build trust and create a shared understanding of the Commission’s direction and priorities for 2026.
